Migrant Summer Program

Migrant Education Program 2019

The Williamsburg Community School District offers a summer program and supports for our Migrant Students that are in grades K-8.  The 2019  program will run from July 1 to August 2 from 7:40 AM to 3:30 PM
.

The mornings are focused on academics and the afternoons are more activity based.  Students are provided breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon snack.  Students also enjoy swimming lessons in the high school pool and technology time, and archery at Mary Welsh Elementary.  This year students are designing and printing items on a 3D printer as well as many additional technology activities.

In addition, we are offering a few additional days where the children will have the opportunity to visit the Iowa Children's Museum, touring local businesses, and swimming at the Williamsburg Recreation Center.
