Congratulations to the 5th and 6th grade First Lego League team, the Flyin’ Pigz, who won the championship award at the FLL Regional tournament at Indian Hills on Saturday. They competed against 25 teams to win the overall team champion award and qualified to go to the State FLL tournament at Iowa State University on January 15. The team also won the karaoke contest with their great singing and dance moves. The theme is “Smart Move.” We were asked to find a transportation problem in our community that needs some improvement. We are very concerned about cars passing buses at the bus stops. It is dangerous to our students.  To help stop this, we are giving you safety tips in this note about bus safety.
