Nathan Deeds, son of Freddie and Leah Deeds, had a memory making weekend! Nathan will be a junior this upcoming school year. Please read below noting Nathan's journey through the 2002 Braille Challenge Process.
At the beginning of the year, 800 youth across the United States, Canada, and United Kingdom began the Braille Challenge competition process.
The top ten individuals were invited to the finals. The students competed in fundamental braille skills such as reading comprehension, spelling, speed, accuracy, proofreading, and charts and graphs.
The 2022 Braille Challenge Championship Finals were held June 24-25 on the beautiful campus of the University of Southern California (USC).
Nathan received the highest honor of Varsity First Place!!
